Prof. Malanczuk is currently an Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Law of The University of Hong Kong (HKU), member of the Academic Advisory Council of the University of Heidelberg and a member of the International Commercial Expert Committee of China’s Supreme People’s Court. Prof. Malanczuk has published widely on international/transnational law in general, as well as trade and investment law and dispute resolution in particular.
Prof. Malanczuk was a former C.V. Starr Professor of Law of the Peking University School of Transnational Law; Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong; General Editor of the Netherlands Yearbook of International Law; and Professor (Chair) of International Law and Head of Department at the University of Amsterdam. He is on the editorial/advisory boards of the Chinese Journal of International Law.
Prof. Malanczuk was the legal advisor to the President of the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal, The Hague. He serves as an arbitrator in international commercial and investment disputes and is a member of a number of panels of arbitral institutions.
